Khloé Kardashian is easing into life as a new mom of two and a newly single woman.
Last week, a representative for the reality star confirmed the happy news that Kardashian and her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson had welcomed their second baby together via surrogate. But the pair, who broke up in January and also share 4-year-old daughter True, have yet to name their newborn son as Kardashian doesn’t want to rush anything until she’s absolutely sure. A source told People, “Khloé is on cloud nine. Getting a sibling for True has been such a journey. She is very excited to be a mom again. She really wanted a baby boy.” They added, “Khloé hasn’t shared a name yet. She is taking her time with the name. She wants it to be just right.”
News that Kardashian and Thompson were expecting another child together first broke last month and a representative said at the time, “We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November. Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.” While the former couple now have two children together, a source confirmed to Page Six that, “Khloé and Tristan are not back together and have not spoken since December outside of co-parenting matters.” They added, “The baby was conceived via surrogate before it was revealed to Khloé and the public that Tristan was having a baby with someone else in December.”
Kardashian and Thompson officially ended their on-again, off-again relationship for what seems to be the final time in January of this year after it was revealed that the NBA star had fathered a child with fitness model Maralee Nichols during their relationship. That baby was born on December 1st and, following a paternity test, it was confirmed that Thompson is the father. Kardashian and Thompson had been dating since 2016 when they welcomed their first daughter True in 2018. The basketball player is also father to another 5-year-old son, Prince, whom he shares with his ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig.
Kardashian recently moved on from her relationship with Thompson by briefly dating a private equity investor, but according to Us Weekly, they’ve already gone their separate ways. A source told the outlet, “Khloé and the private equity investor broke up. They split a few weeks ago, things just fizzled out between them.” The pair apparently first met back in June at a dinner party where they were introduced by Kim Kardashian.
